2021 BMW 330e Plug-in Hybrid Unveiled

Workers in Munich have weathered the worst of the virus to offer something unprecedented. Everyone has a fond memory of a 3 Series, so get ready for a new chapter in the history of the fun sports sedan because the 2021 BMW 330e Plug-in hybrid has been unveiled.

Shrouded under a revised body is a powertrain that is shockingly efficient. Instead of the traditional straight-six, a new 2.0L turbo is coupled to a hybrid drive. Although the battery is only rated at 12 kWh, it allows for a combined output of 288 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Leaving it on charge at night and you will have 22 miles of pure electric cruising. I love the M3, but 75 MPG is appealing to me.
