2021 BMW M3, M3 Touring, & M4 Teased

Tomorrow we will meet new versions of old friends. After years in development, the 2021 BMW M3, M3 Touring Wagon, and the M4 have been teased on Twitter. Staying true to their heritage, a revised straight-six with dual turbos will be offered with manual or automatic transmissions. While BMW M refers to the engine as “TwinPower” each turbo is fed by 3 cylinders. Not only does this eliminate turbo lag, it adds reliability via redundant systems. The 6th generation of the M3 will be joined by a wagon, we can only hope they allow Americans to buy it. The press release mentions the return of the M4 Convertible for sale next year, so stay with us for the full debrief after the unveiling.
