The new BMW M2 CS is on its way.
For decades, BMW’s legendary performance division has been defined by a single, unmistakable letter: M. From icons like the E30 M3 and the V10-powered E60 M5 to the track-focused M4 CSL, these M cars have set the benchmark for performance and everyday usability. Among the latest to wear the badge is the BMW M2, taking shape as a compact that captures the essence of M in its lightweight two-door form.

While F87 and G87 generations played a crucial role in paving the way for the M2’s ongoing legacy, BMW is proud to write a new chapter for the M2 with an exclusive worldwide unveiling of the new BMW M2 CS at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025.

BMW just released the design of the M2 CS as part of the Concours’ kick-off on Lake Como, which takes place from May 23rd to 25th. While figures and specifics are waiting to be announced on May 28th, photos reveal an up-close look at what BMW fanatics can expect from the M-division. The new BMW M2 CS keeps that compact, short-wheelbase feel that makes it so much fun to drive, but now with a sportier, more evolved look.

One of the easiest changes to spot is its wider body and redesigned rear trunk. Newly redesigned forged wheels keep the classic multi-spoke CS look but with a fresher, more modern twist. We’re still waiting to hear the full story on what’s under the hood and how much power we can expect, but it’s safe to say this M2 CS is going to prove itself both on and off the track.
