Heading to auction is a mysterious Bugatti hypercar that never saw an actual production life.

It’s no surprise that every hypercar rolling off the production line at Bugatti shapes itself as an example of automotive excellence, whether it be a $3.8 million Chiron or a one-of-one $13.4 million La Voiture Noir. Preparing for an exceptional announcement in collaboration with the auction professionals at RM Sotheby’s, Bugatti took to its Instagram page to tease “an automotive solitaire that never hit production.”
