This stunning one-off brings history to life.
Formerly known as The Little Car Company, Hedley Studios is known for creating small-scale, electric recreations of some of the automotive world’s most cherished historic vehicles, managing to create “drivable works of art” that hold a special place in various high-profile car collections. One of the manufacturers that Hedley Studios has been a close partner of for years is Bugatti, with which Heldey Studios has created the iconic Bugatti Baby II, a reimagination of Bugatti’s historical masterpiece, the Type 35, that has served as the canvas for incredible automotive excellence and bespoke personalization.
The latest example of the Bugatti Baby II is a bespoke one-of-one creation, and it’s the result of a collaboration between Hedley Studios and Bugatti’s manager of Sur Mesure and Individualization, Jascha Straub. Having celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, the Bugatti Type 35’s three-quarter-scale electrified recreation as the Bugatti Baby II was the basis for a beautiful visual storytelling of Bugatti’s history.
The yellow and black color scheme echoes one of Ettore Bugatti’s favorite color combinations, and is inspired by cherished Bugatti icons like the Type 57 Grand Raid Usine. Bridge Of Weir black leather luxuriously upholsters the interior, which is created to evoke the look and feel of the original car faithfully. Sketches are depicted across the exterior depicting important moments throughout Bugatti’s history, making the Bugatti Baby II into a precious collector’s piece for discerning enthusiasts with an affinity for Bugatti’s storied legacy of automotive excellence.
