If the Bugatti had wings, it would’ve taken off.
Bugatti recently made the awesome decision to pit their Chiron Sport ‘Les Légendes du Ciel’ hypercar against the Dassault Rafale Marine fighter jet. Yes, a hypercar racing a fighter jet qualifies for being awesome. The two speed demons met up at a naval base in Landivisiau, north-west France. To put this battle into comparison, the Chiron Sport boasts 1479 horsepower, while the Navy jet is packing 5646 hp. That’s quite the difference, but that didn’t stop the race from happening. What’s more, the race makes sense when you learn that the Bugatti Chiron Sport Edition ‘Les Légendes du Ciel’ was made to honor French aviation.
