Cadillac is ready to grow its racing legacy this summer.
Cadillac has built a successful racing legacy with its V-Series performance cars and with various victories in the motorsport world. However, a new era is dawning for Cadillac, with the brand set to enter the prestigious and globally-revered Formula 1 Series for the 2026 season, and sooner, a return to the FIA World Endurance Championship with its V-Series.R LMDh endurance racing hypercar.
This year, Cadillac has secured four entries into the most prestigious and anticipated race of the FIA WEC, and the most revered and hallowed endurance race in the motorsport world: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Four Cadillac V-Series.R race cars will be racing in the legendary competition, with number 12 and 38 automatically invited in the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA as part of their full participation in the WEC. Jenson Button, Earl Bamber, Sebastien Bourdais, Alex Lynn, Norman Nato and Will Stevens will drive those two cars.
The other two cars are number 101, and number 311. Number 101 is with Wayne Taylor Racing, and will be driven by Ricky Taylor, with other drivers to be announced later. Number 311 is with Whelen, and will be driven by Jack Aitken with other drivers to be announced later. With a Le Mans racing legacy that began in 1950 with Cadillac Series 61 Coupes, and continued in the 2000s, Cadillac returns to Le Mans this year to write a new chapter.
