duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee: October 2018

In stark contrast to the usual ghosts & goblins that attend our October events, we had an attitude of gratitude for those in the wake of Hurricane Michael. As you are reading this, we are en route to deliver desperately needed supplies to Florida’s Panhandle. Our loyal attendees did not withhold their support, as we received generous donations of water, food, & other supplies.

These were not limited to just individuals, we have to thank members of the local car clubs who spread the message. Our local dealers also participated, so thank you to Mercedes-Benz of Tampa, Reeves Import Motorcars, Crown Eurocars, Lamborghini Sarasota, Dimmitt, and our neighbors at BiC for lending help. In addition to donations, we are selling the latest Cars & Coffee shirts. We have white and black in all sizes, and all proceeds are going to relief efforts.

A change in the weather also marked a different traffic pattern in our parking lots. Usually, our East entrance has been blocked to funnel traffic between BLVD Customs and our VIP area. But this has created such a bottleneck in recent months. Pulling this kink out of the flow seemed to be very successful, as parking and leaving were much easier. But we always need your input. Tell us about your ideas to improve our show and we’ll see you in November!
