Kevin Hart partners with Holley Inc. and Detroit Speed & Engineering for a stunning custom rebuild of his 1969 Pontiac GTO, debuting at the 2023 SEMA Show.
When it comes to show-stopping car restorations, comedian and actor Kevin Hart knows how to steal the spotlight at any automotive event. Making its grand debut at the 2023 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Hart’s newly restored 1969 Pontiac GTO was on-site for all in attendance to see. Commissioned by Hart and taking three years to complete, this classic GTO has been meticulously transformed into a pro-touring masterpiece by the experts at Holley Inc. and Detroit Speed & Engineering. This incredibly meticulous build was one of only 12 vehicles selected for the SEMA Monday Reveal, an exclusive pre-show event spotlighting the future of the aftermarket industry. The project showcases the skills and solutions from Holley and Detroit Speed & Engineering, renowned in the industry for their aftermarket expertise in pro-touring restorations. Under the hood, the GTO features a Chevrolet Performance LT5 6.2L Supercharged engine, delivering a jaw-dropping 755 horsepower.
A Bowler Performance T56 transmission and JRi Adjustable Coilover Shocks round out the high-performance package, while HRE Valkyria wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires ensure optimal road grip. The exterior design is nothing short of eye-catching, with modified front and rear bumpers, hood, front valance, and spoiler all contributing to a more aggressive look and feel. Hart couldn’t be happier with the final product, highlighting Detroit Speed & Engineering’s reputation for fit and functionality as a significant factor in his choice.
