Mecum Auctions has just auctioned off the Highland Green 1968 Ford Mustang GT used as the hero car driven by the “King of Cool,” Steve McQueen, in the iconic 1968 film “Bullitt.” After tense bidding that went back and forth between multiple bidders for quite some time, the final hammer price was $3,400,000.
