Hennessey Resurrection 1,200 HP Camaro ZL1 Unveiled at SEMA

Are you suffering from Demons? They appear at every Cars & Coffee along with SRT Hellcats and the occasional Viper. Fear of Mopar is quite real, so we offer a cure. The Hennessey Resurrection 1,200 Horsepower Camaro ZL11LE has been unveiled at SEMA.

You can’t deny the potency of the LT4 engine found in the ZL1. It is strong enough to deliver 1,000 horsepower in the Camaro Exorcist, but Hennessey Performance never sleeps. The car kept them awake at night begging for more power.

How to Order the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro

The solution arrived in a crate from the Corvette plant. Inside was a new LT5 from the 2019 Corvette ZR1. Unlike the LT4, this engine was not shared with the Cadillac CTS-V or the Camaro ZL1. It was designed to be a 755 horsepower sendoff to the C7 Corvette. Known by GM engineers as #BAS, the Big @SS Supercharger left plenty of power on the table.

Doing what they do best, Hennessey and his team carefully reverse-engineered the beast and changed its fuel. Porting the blower, throttle body, and heads, the Resurrection offers 1,200 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque on Shell E-85 fuel.

Relentless testing at their Lonestar Motorsports Park revealed what this power can do to a transmission. Therefore, six-speed cars will receive a Centerforce clutch, and automatic cars will receive carbon-fiber clutch packs and a new torque converter. Including the price of a new Camaro ZL1 1LE, the Resurrection can be yours for $200,000. Only 24 will be produced, so click the button above for all the details and stay with us for all your Hennessey Performance updates.
