It was on May 23, 1940 that Maserati captured four wins in a row at the Targa Florio, a prestigious endurance race in the mountains of Sicily.To celebrate the 80th anniversary of their victory, Maserati has brought an MC20 prototype to Sicily and onto the roads where the Targa Florio occurred. This is just the latest in the MC20’s journey to production. Maserati notes that this new model will be the start of a new era for the Italian automaker and it will also be the first car from the House of Trident to utilize their new engine.
