The De Tomaso brand is coming back for its 60th anniversary, thanks to the core team behind Apollo Automobili. This marks the start of a new era for the beloved car company that once created the famous Pantera.
“Since the acquisition of De Tomaso we have been secretively working behind the scenes on a world-class revival strategy with the intention to go public with our efforts for the 60th anniversary,” says Ryan Berris, De Tomaso General Manager and CMO. “When the new car debuts this summer, not only will another special vehicle be added to the brand’s heritage, but the story will finally be told.”
De Tomaso has revealed that a new car is already in the works and it’s coming very soon. Right now, the new De Tomaso car has been nicknamed “Project P” and they’re using the hashtag #DTprojectP on social media to share information on it. The world will be introduced to this new car on July 4, 2019, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
