O’Gara Motorsport Joins Super Trofeo Series in Partnership With Arrow Electronics

Arrow Electronics is throwing its hat into the GT car racing world for the first time.

O’Gara Coach has just announced that their motorsport division, O’Gara Motorsport, will be entering the 2022 Super Trofeo North America Series in partnership with Arrow Electronics. This news ends a seven-year hiatus for O’Gara Motorsport which won both the driver and team championships back in 2015. As for drivers, Edoardo Piscopo will be take lead in the Pro category and will share duties with Patrick Kujala.

Edoardo is more than ready for the task as he was actually part of O’Gara’s winning team in 2015. He had this to say regarding his return: “After taking a few years off from racing, I am thrilled to be back in a series which has given me so much personally and professionally. O’Gara Motorsport is a pillar of our O’Gara brand, with many more exciting endeavors to come. Thank you, Shane Seneviratne, for once again putting together such a special group of stakeholders.”

Also sharing in his excitement is Tom O’Gara, Owner of O’Gara coach: “I’m really excited to be partnering with Eddie Littlefield and bringing our two race teams together. But the most exciting part is having Arrow Electronics join Lamborghini Super Trofeo. For Arrow Electronics, a world-class technology company that’s involved in racing at all levels including Formula One and IndyCar, to join us is a real honor.”
