TVR Garage brings TVR’s classic 90s to America!
TVR Garage is reigniting the passion for classic British sports cars in the USA, reintroducing late 1990s hand-built TVR sports cars to American collectors. Utilizing the 25-year EPA and NHTSA exemption process, TVR Garage focuses on importing only the finest examples, either in classic or restored condition. Its bespoke personalization service guarantees that clients receive the best possible ownership experience. Partnering with renowned UK TVR specialist Str8six, TVR Garage gains access to two decades of expertise in custom engine building, servicing, race preparation, and spare parts sourcing. Based in Tucson, Arizona, with approved service locations in Arizona, California, and Florida, TVR Garage offers end-to-end ownership support, providing peace of mind to its customers. The company’s official launch took place at Carmel Valley during Monterey Car Week in 2023, where they presented two classic 1997 TVR Cerberas in Rosso Pearl and Amethyst.
The heart of the TVR Cerbera is the TVR-developed AJP8 motor, designed by Alwyn Melling. This V8 power unit comes in two forms: a 4,185cc producing 360 horsepower and a 4,475cc producing 420 horsepower, delivering a raw driving experience. TVR Garage’s efforts have even caught the attention of Jay Leno’s Garage on YouTube, where Jay Leno himself explored the TVR Cerbera and took it for a spin through Burbank. With a ten-year pipeline of products, including the soon-to-be-eligible TVR Tuscan, Tamora, T350, and Sagaris, TVR Garage has an exciting future ahead, promising a continuous supply of classic TVR models.
Co-founders Gavin Bristow and Andi Hughes share a deep passion for the TVR brand, turning a personal import project into a business that brings the oldest “new” brand to the US market.
