Moreover, the Ramcharger eliminates range anxiety, ensuring that the search for a public charger isn’t nearly as much of a worry.
Beneath the surface, the Ram 1500 Ramcharger is a technological marvel. It houses a 92 kWh battery pack, which is complemented by a 3.6-liter V6 engine powering an onboard 130 kW generator. This setup powers the 250-kW front and 238-kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs), enabling a new era of vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-grid bi-directional charging. This means the Ramcharger isn’t just a means of transport; it’s a mobile power unit capable of charging other Stellantis EVs or even contributing electricity back to the grid.
