2018 Aston Martin DB11 Specs, Price, Photos & Review

Aston Martin’s new DB11 is the latest model to get the “DB” designation and is the most powerful DB model in the company’s history. What’s more, Aston Martin also says it’s their most efficient DB ever. How did they do it? Over 100 years of engineering prowess. It all starts with the new twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 that pushes out 600 bhp and 516 lb-ft of torque. With the 8-speed automatic ZF transmission working out the power, the DB11 can run 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. But it’s not all about straight line performance, and that’s why Aston Martin added adaptive damping and multiple dynamic settings for the new suspension.

Inside, Aston Martin worked with Daimler AG and installed the very latest technology. A 12-inch TFT LCD display acts as the instrument cluster and is where the driver will see the DB11’s vehicle information. For infotainment, there is an 8-inch TFT screen controlled with a rotary control, but there is the option of a multi-touch touchpad. Bringing everything together is a new design that’s paving the way for future Aston Martin models. The most dominant design aspect is without a doubt the front-hinged clamshell hood that’s crafted from a single piece of aluminum. When viewing the hood from the front, however, you’ll be hard-pressed not to notice just how wide and aggressive the rear is. Then again, this is one of the most aggressive vehicles Aston Martin has ever created.
