The Classic Auto Show, March 2-4, 2018 in Los Angeles is the largest 3-day indoor classic car show in the U.S. It’s where the entire classic car community comes together for a celebration of all things on wheels. Whether you are a collector, or, working on your project car, or, simply share a passion for the classics – this event is for you. You’ll see the cars you love, rub shoulders with your favorite auto celebrities, view LIVE restoration and auto detailing demos, and shop a vendor marketplace showcasing memorabilia, and the parts, products, and services you need to restore and care for your cars.
The show will exhibit over 1,000 classics on TWO floors of the LA Convention Center including the rarely seen, museum quality classics displayed on the prominent Grand Boulevard, celebrity builds, and hundreds of classics from local car clubs representing all the Domestic and Foreign marques you love.
Comedian and car enthusiast Jay Leno will lead an extensive list of celebrities who will make special appearances, meet with fans and sign autographs at the show’s Celebrity Stage on Sunday, March 4th. Returning to the event will be renowned car designer Chip Foose, Dave Kindig host of “Bitchin’ Rides,” Mike Brewer host of “Wheeler Dealers”,and Wayne Carini host of “Chasing Classic Cars.” Throughout the show, all celebrities will meet with fans, share stories, provide exclusive insights on how their programs are produced and offer expert advice on restoration and motoring.
Making their first appearances at CAS is legendary car designer Steve Moal, the show’s grand marshal, preeminent automotive appraiser and frequent “Jay Leno’s Garage” guest Donald Osborne, Porsche customizer and “Urban Outlaw” Magnus Walker; host of “Stacey David’s Gearz” Stacey David, “My Classic Car” hostDennis Gage, “All Girls Garage” hosts Bogi Lateiner and Rachel DeBarros, Kevin Mack and Mike “Horny Mike” Henry of “Count’s Kustoms” and “Counting Cars,” and professional wrestling champion and automobile aficionado Bill Goldberg.

The CAS Project Car, a ’67 Camaro will be built in 67 days by renowned builder Jeff Allen, host of The SkidMarks Show an unveiled at the show. The Petersen Automotive Museum will showcase several significant Porsche cars to celebrate the marque’s 70th Anniversary. The Mullin Automotive Museum will provide a select group of Citroëns from founder Peter Mullin’s private collection. Uniquely styled and with features that were ahead of their time, these French classics are among the most prized collector cars in the world, and rarely seen in America, until now. The Women ‘n Wheels Pavilion presented by Automobile Driving Museum will be the show’s first-ever display featuring a special car corral with female only classics. “Women ‘n Wheels” panels will be highlighted with appearances by motorsports legend Lyn. St. James, AskPatty CEO Jody DeVere, All Girls Garage crew Bogi Lateiner and Rachel DeBarros, and Cecile Bukmeier, the first female instructor at NAIT’s Autobody Technician Program. Special car exhibits will be Bogi Lateiner’s “Chevy Montage” all-female build; and “Grease Girl” Kristin Cline, who will also work on her ’60 Ford Falcon in front of a live audience.
See Hot Rods from Grand Marshal Steve Moal and Bruce Meyer and several prominent local clubs. Plus, stop by the Hot Rod booth where you can see some cars and meet the editors. The Historic Vehicle Association will bring the world’s most iconic Lowrider, “Gypsy Rose.” On display in the Grand Boulevard, the legendary ’64 Chevy Impala will serve as the centerpiece of a special exhibit that showcases the proud automotive culture borne in East Los Angeles. “Gypsy Rose” will be joined by collections from several of the world’s most popular lowrider clubs, including the Imperial Car Club. Classic Japanese Cars One of the fastest-growing collector car segments, Japanese classics will make their debut at the Classic Auto Show. The “Oldskoolerz” Old Japanese Car Meet will bring over 25 classics including a 1966 Toyota Corona 4-door and 1971 Nissan Skyline Couple GTR “Hakosuka.”
Interactive, Fan-Based Features Bring the Hobby to Life
The 2018 show will showcase new features including the Restoration Stage and Auto Detailing Studio showcasing daily demos, interviews and discussions. Emcee Thomas Douglas from The Guild of Automotive Restorers will host the Restoration Stage, and Jimbo Balaam from the Auto Detailing Podcast will host the Auto Detailing Studio.
The show’s “Movies Under the Cars” will celebrate the 50th anniversary of BULLITT with a private showing for attendees. Fans will get a chance to see the movie among other enthusiasts. And, for the show’s youngest gearheads, they’ll find the CAS KidZone, where they can try out building a mini engine, take a scavenger hunt and more.
The Classic Auto Show will take place on March 2-4, 2018 at the Los Angeles Convention Center: South Hall and Kentia Hall. Tickets are available online. Adult tickets start at $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door. Children ages 6-12 are $5 pre-sale, $10 at the door. Children 5 and under are free.
