Cars & Coffee Palm Beach January 2020 Recap

Cars & Coffee Palm Beach, the world’s largest monthly cars and coffee event, kicked off 2020 with a huge celebration at Palm Beach Outlets. The event, which is presented by Adam’s Polishes with support from Off Lease Only and Blackout Coffee Co., attracted over 3100 display vehicles and more than 30,000 spectators who enjoyed cars, coffee, vendors, stores, giveaways, charities, and more.

Highlights included:

1. Vanilla Ice (aka Robert Van Winkle) joined the Fast Muscle Cars of South Florida display to unveil his newly restored 5.0 Mustang from the original “Ice Ice Baby” video. 2. Crowds drove from all over Florida and surrounding states to meet Vanilla Ice, see him “rolling in THE 5.0,” and hear about his upcoming TV projects including Mystical Rides with Vanilla Ice, which debuts on History Channel later this year.   (Photo by Palm Beach Dyno) 

3. It was pure star power plus art in motion as the Apollo IE Golden Dragon and Black Dragon hypercars drove into place on the Showcase Corner. The two of only 10 in the world came to Palm Beach as part of their U.S. tour. The look and sounds of their arrival were truly stunning.   (Photo by Mike Streltsov)

4. Adam’s Polishes ensured that both Apollo masterpieces were sparkling clean in the Florida sun, as showgoers enjoyed the rare opportunity to see the Dragons together. 11. Speaking of leading the pack, three 2020 GT 500 Mustangs, including the certified fastest and quickest to date, arrived at the venue before dawn. With Palm Beach Dyno and Rarefab flags in tow, they certainly pleased showgoers with a need for speed.  (Photo by Cars Computers Cameras) 

12. Of course, it’s hard to find anything on wheels faster than the Larsen Motorsports jet cars. Their pre-dawn set-up included a classic Corvette with a jet engine, along with an interactive family area with fun, inspiring, and educational activities.  (Photo by TonyNap CAR-Tography) 

13. Fortunately for the early risers, Blackout Coffee Co. is the Official Coffee Sponsor for Cars & Coffee Palm Beach 2020. 14. MLB Player Derek Dietrich, former Marlin and current Cincinnati Reds 2nd baseman, greeted fans in the duPont REGISTRY Exotics & Luxury Area and showed off his custom Audi R8.  (Photo by Cars & Coffee Palm Beach) 

15. The world’s leading electric skateboard company, Fiik, captured lots of attention with their electric boards and drifters, as well as a BMW i8 wrapped in Fiik logos.  (Photo by Black & Yellow Photos)

Over 385 custom, modified, and collector BMWs from all over Florida were in the house, thanks to Miguel Bimmer’s BMW Invasion with co-hosts Florida Fine Cars, Off Lease Only, German Line Performance, Euromotive Performance, Orlando Bimmer Club, Miami Bimmer Club, and Tampa Bimmer Club.  (Photo by Florida Fine Cars)

23. Also showing spirit, Seminole Ridge JROTC Hawk Battalion recruited a few remarkable military vehicles for display as part of their fundraising efforts. Legendary 1941 Jeep Row joined their campaign to promote the group’s local school, JROTC program, and important activities–which rely on public support for funding.  (Photo by Tom Dowd) 

24. Not all camouflage was meant to hide, which some of the custom wraps proved quite well. As usual, 9automotion hosted an array of exciting Porsches, representing a huge variety of models, vintages, and customizations.  (Photo by Jason Fields)
