Lamborghini Sends Restored Icons To The St. Moritz Ice Course

While most manufacturers and collectors keep historic-grade supercars in spotless showrooms to protect their legacies, Automobili Lamborghini believes all cars should be enjoyed thoroughly, no matter the value. Proving its point, Automobili Lamborghini’s Polo Storico restoration division is proud to take part in The Ice Concours d’Elegance in the beautiful setting of the St. Moritz frozen lake. Every year, leading automakers gather at the mountainous Swiss town to transform the snow polo competition into a playground for the weekend.

Drivers of the Huracán GT3 EVO2 during the 24 hours of Daytona (Sarah Bovy, Rahel Frey, and Michelle Gatting) were given the opportunity to drive a Lamborghini Miura P400 SV on the ice at St. Moritz. Along with the red milestone Miuras P400 SVs and Countach, the Lamborghini Polo Storico brought a certified one-off Miura P400 S ‘Millechiodi’ to participate in the ice race. The 1969 Miura P400 S (chassis number 4302) left the Sant’Agata Bolognese in November 1969 with a Blu Notte. After a huge investment by the owner, the Miura was restored to Verde Scuro in 2018 and certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico in 2020. With its 60th Anniversary just kicking off, expect to see more incredible appearances from Lamborghini and the passionate team at Polo Storico.
