RM Sotheby’s has just announced that their second annual Essen auction will be moving to an online-only sale. The auction, running from June 3-11, will be held on RMSothebys.com. A majority of the cars that were originally planned to be auctioned at the live event will be offered on the time-base online auction platform. This results in around 200 collectors cars being auctioned, like a pre-war Bugatti to a rare Aston Martin V8 Zagato. RM Sotheby’s will also be auctioning off nearly 100 cars from the Petitjean Collection with no reserve.
