RM Sotheby’s Top 10 Monterey 2016 Auction Results

Of all the happenings around Monterey last week, RM Sotheby’s auction at the Portola Hotel was one for the record books. Quality over quantity is their strategy, with only 100 lots between the two day event. A smaller selection was due to construction at the event venue, as last year’s auction presented 150 cars. Still, the event was considered a great success, as the weekend posted a strong $117.9 million in sales with 82 percent of all lots sold.
