Salon Privé Begins With Incredible Automotive Appearances And Debuts

London’s new exclusive Salon Privé automotive event starts with a bang.

London is one of the biggest cities in the world, and if you want an automotive event to take place there and impress, you have to make quite an entrance.  And after Salon Privé, London’s newest exclusive automotive party finished its first day, that’s exactly what it did. It was absolutely star-studded, with appearances being made that were global debuts for new cars, appearances for incredibly rare examples, and incredible shows for gorgeous classics at the event’s Concours de Vente.

Amazing cars were shown at events for the first time in the UK at Salon Privé, like the incredible Ferrari Daytona SP3, the brand’s newest ultra-rare Icona hypercar, the new Ferrari 296 GTB, the new Aston Martin DBX707, which stood alongside one of two Aston Martin DBS GT Zagatos in the world and a Valkyrie, the all-electric Genesis GV60 coupe crossover, the new Range Rover SV, the Morgan Super 3, the Tushek TS900 Apex, Alpine’s new A110 lineup, and more incredible cars. However, one of the most awe-striking moments was when the Alfa Romeo 12C prototype, a long-lost pre-war racing prototype showed at the event, with not only the car itself restored, but also the legendary legacy of it that connects the heritage of Ferrari, Porsche, and Alfa Romeo together.

The Concours featured incredible historic beauties, like a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider, and a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet, and a legendary 1987 Porsche 959. With just one day of the event down, there’s no telling just what Friday and Saturday might have in store for Salon Privé, but if it’s anything like Thursday, it’s going to be amazing.
