During this year’s Baja 1000 race, there was a big rivalry between two competitors: the Ford Bronco and Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus Boot. The original Hurst Baja Boot took on the Bronco multiple times during the 1960s in different races. Now, they’re back at it again thanks to the SCG Boot and Ford Bronco R Prototype.
The two trucks were in Class 2 and were the only competitors in their class. When it was all over, the Boot took the win as the Bronco did not manage to finish within 34 hours. The Boot ‘s completion of the race literally came down to the last minute with a time of 33:59:13.947. Like I said, down to the last literal minute of the race.
