The Cars Bentley’s Bringing to Pebble Beach 2015

As August 10 draws closer, the towns of Monterey and Pebble Beach, California, is preparing for an influx of the world’s rarest cars and their owners, as well as the enthusiasts who love them, for the annual Monterey Car Week and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

In addition to many more of the world’s most well-known marques, Bentley will be in attendance for both the car week and concours, and in a press release today they’ve shared some highlights of the cars they’re bringing along. With the oldest being a creation from 1931 and the newest their 2016 Continental GT, Bentley has ensured they’ll appeal to a wide variety of visitors.

The entirety of Bentley’s 2016 model range, as well as the concept EXP 10 Speed 6, will all be presented on Aug. 14 at the event The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering. For Aug. 15, at the Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway paddock, the Continental GT3 R will sit alongside the GT3 race car for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.

RM Sotheby’s Auctions will be auctioning off 5 classic Bentleys during their Aug. 14 and 15 events, with some very high price tags expected. A 1956 S1 Continental Drophead Coupe by Park Ward is estimated to sell for $900,000 to $1.2 million; a 1953 R-Type Continental Fastback Sports Saloon by H.J. Mulliner is estimated to sell for $1 million to $1.2 million, and a 1931 4.5-liter Supercharged Two-Seater Sports could see a final price of between $4.5 million and $5.5 million.
