Retro Motors Collection: 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible ‘6T9 GTO’ Replica

Pontiac GTO creator John DeLorean was such a fan of Sammy Davis Jr.’s recurring role as “The Judge” in the sketch comedy show Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, that he named a performance package after it. The bold, loud, and fast Judge GTO became the envy of muscle car enthusiasts since production ended in 1971, including automotive designer Kevin Morgan who sketched a modern interpretation of the Judge on a fifth-generation (2010-2015) Camaro chassis.

The rendering was all it took to inspire the talented team at Trans Am Depot in Tallahassee, Florida to bring it to life as the “6T9 GTO.” Dressed in completely bespoke body panels designed and hand-molded to resemble the GTO, the 6T9 was meticulously detailed from the hood tach (repurposed as a boost gauge) to the hideaway headlights. A timeless blend of old and new, the 6T9 GTO is a fine tribute to one of the most recognizable muscle cars of all time.

This car is part of the Retro Motors Collection, which comprises over 30 cars largely from the 1950s through today, with a focus on American muscle and high-powered European sports cars. Bidding ends on 6/8 at 4:20EST PM.
