On Sunday, June 25, car enthusiasts and supporters of Connecticut Children’s are in for a treat as the official Concorso Ferrari and Friends show takes place. From the early hours of the morning, Italian supercars and special invitees will roll into the event, culminating in a grand display of nearly 300 magnificent vehicles. Spectators eager to witness this extraordinary gathering can enter the show starting at 8:00 am.

The Concorso Ferrari & Friends show is more than just a car exhibition; it is a vibrant celebration with an array of attractions. Attendees can enjoy delicious offerings from food trucks, immerse themselves in the rhythmic beats of live music, and explore various vendor stalls. However, the true highlight of the event is the heartwarming parade that pays tribute to forty Connecticut Children’s Heroes Co-Pilots. These patient and parent ambassadors have been nominated for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, symbolizing the resilience and courage of the children and families involved.

Drawing thousands of visitors and car enthusiasts from across southern New England, Concorso Ferrari & Friends stands as a distinctive and captivating automobile experience. Moreover, this event serves as a crucial fundraiser for Connecticut Children’s, as the spectator admission fees directly contribute to the organization’s ability to provide compassionate and expert care to patients and their families. Individuals can gain entry for $10, while a car full of people can get in for $20.

To kick off the festivities, an exclusive Cars & Cocktails event will take place on June 24th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (ticket required). This special gathering will honor the founder of Concorso Ferrari & Friends, Stanley Cohen. Having dedicated 23 years to the event, Stanley has been instrumental in raising nearly $2,000,000 and counting for research and technology at Connecticut Children’s. Attendees will have the opportunity to appreciate the artistic talents of Michael Ulman, the creator behind the iconic Mad Max guitar, who will display his artworks and auction them off to further support Connecticut Children’s mission.

Leading up to the main event, several prelude activities have taken place to raise money, but this weekend, the “Espresso Run” takes place. Participants will go on a rally-style journey, commencing with a meetup at Saccuzzo Coffee Roasters in Newington, CT at 8:30 am. From there, the rally proceeds to Lions Den Coffee Shop in Simsbury, CT, where a captivating car show and promotional activities await.

We would also like to thank Rocco Santilli with RS Auto Detailing for hosting the Tower Cars Storage Cars and Coffee that featured over 300 Exotic, Vintage, and Collector cars in attendance.  The District Show also did their part to raise funds by hosting a small, bespoke car show.  Combined, they were able to raise $7000 for the Connecticut Children’s Hospital.

The Concorso Ferrari & Friends show promises an unforgettable experience for car enthusiasts, families, and charity supporters alike. By attending this remarkable event, individuals not only get the chance to marvel at the beauty of Italian supercars but also contribute to the noble cause of Connecticut Children’s. With its rich history and unwavering commitment to making a difference, Concorso Ferrari & Friends stands as a testament to the power of passion, community, and philanthropy.
