Automotive excellence can cost a pretty penny, and these cars prove it.

It’s no secret that great cars are expensive. But just how expensive do they get? Whether you want an ultra-luxurious automotive oasis, the most power and performance on four wheels, or a vehicle that’s jam-packed with the very best in cutting-edge, pioneering technology, price can often be a superlative that comes with the others.

Manufacturers like Rolls-Royce, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Pagani are known for pushing the limits when it comes to engineering, luxury, design, performance, and technology, and as such, cars from those manufacturers are often some of the most expensive on the market.

However, the automotive world is experiencing a time when change and transformation is sweeping, especially in the realm of electrification, and the most futuristic, excellent, coveted, and desirable exotic and luxury cars for sale can come from anywhere. Both the most ambitiously futuristic cars and those that preserve an old-school ethos can be incredibly pricy, with collectors and manufacturers wanting to preserve history, and also be the first to make the history of the future. The privilege of doing so certainly isn’t cheap, though. Below are some of the most expensive new cars to hit the market in 2024.
