duPont REGISTRY January 2016 Uncovered – L’Or Blanc

To start 2016 off right, we have a one-off Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc, which is now for sale now, through Refined Marques.

The Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc was created through a partnership between Bugatti and Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), the legendary porcelain manufacturer with 250 years of heritage. When the L’Or Blanc was released, it was the world’s first car to ever be equipped with porcelain, making it an instant piece of automotive history.

Around the car, from its exterior to its interior, porcelain components highlight the already stunning Grand Sport. On the outside, the center wheel badges, oil and fuel filler caps, as well as the signature rear “EB” badge, all feature porcelain. Inside, the material can be found most notably in the intarsia fixed to the rear panel between the seats and in the dish in the top of the center console, all featuring the famous elephant created by Rembrandt Bugatti.
