It’s a practically universal association: Ferrari and red. The origin of it goes even further back than the beginning of Ferrari, and begins with Italy’s participation in motorsport as a whole, when red was decided as the country’s official racing color. When Ferrari was established as a manufacturer, it sported that same red, which eventually became its own as time went on, becoming the signature hue for the legendary Prancing Horse.

For much of the brand’s history, an overwhelming majority of Ferraris were painted red, but things have since changed, especially since the introduction of Ferrari’s Tailor Made bespoke customization program, through which Ferrari’s palette of colors and the potential for customization blossomed. Ferrari now shows off a wider range of vibrant hues than ever, paying homage to history and showing off futuristic visions.

The incredibly powerful, quick, all-wheel drive hybrid Ferrari SF90 Spider is one of the greatest examples of this, with daring design language, and a range of stunning configurations like this one, shown off by Boardwalk Ferrari of Plano in Plano, Texas in a new Instagram post. It was customized at Ferrari’s New York City Atelier with a stunning Glossy Atomic Orange exterior that’s paired with an equally vivid Arancio Mikonos interior. The car also boasts Ferrari’s Assetto Fiorano package, and it’s one of many incredible examples of the Ferrari SF90’s potential to be a unique statement in an exotic car collection.
