Take ultra-exclusive Ferrari excellence and double it.
Ferrari’s Icona Series is an elite club of supercars produced in limited numbers with special designs and philosophies that speak to incredible moments in the Prancing Horse’s history and automotive excellence at large. The third entry in the Icona series is the Ferrari Daytona SP3, a gorgeous supercar that has styling that is both futuristic and heavily inspired by the Ferrari race cars that dominated at the eponymous Daytona race track in the 1960s.
It’s powered by a robust, mid-mounted V12 engine, which makes it the first mid-engine V12 Ferrari since the LaFerrari and the first non-hybrid mid-engine V12 Ferrari since the LaFerrari’s predecessor, the Enzo. It’s one of the most exclusive Ferrari creations yet, and Ferrari Lake Forest, a dealership in Lake Bluff, Illinois, is showing off two stunning examples of the sought-after supercar.
One example is finished in classic Ferrari red, echoing the historic racing color of the cars that earned the legacy that the Daytona SP3 celebrates today. Meanwhile, the other is finished in blue. With interiors upholstered in red leather and red Alcantara, these Ferrari Daytona SP3 examples have incredible designs further enhanced by fine materials like exposed carbon fiber. Combining the greatest engineering of the future with the glorious stories of Ferrari’s racing past, these two examples of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 are even better together than individually.
