Ferrari Appoints New CEO With Tech Background

It has been announced that Benedetto Vigna will be the new CEO of Ferrari starting September 1, 2021. Vigna will be joining Ferrari after a long history with STMicroelectronics, where he founded the company’s Micro-electromechanical Systems (MEMS) activities. During his time with ST, he also worked with connectivity, imaging and power solutions. Vigna also piloted the company into new business areas, with a focus on the industrial and automotive market segments. This experience in the automotive market with such advanced technologies is going to help Ferrari apply next-generation tech in their vehicles. With the appointment of Vigna, it’s clear to see that Ferrari is aiming to innovate and advance the company towards a more technologically advanced future.
