There’s something exhilarating about the sound of a Ferrari revving, and there’s something overwhelmingly exciting when it’s a Ferrari revving in a tunnel. And when it’s a Ferrari F40, it becomes downright majestic.
With the incredible acoustics of a rounded, concrete, enclosed space, a Ferrari’s engine can be amplified to insane levels, almost to the point where other drivers on the road are jumping from surprise.

While headed to a Supercar Day event, the Supercar Driver captured a video of precisely that show of sound. Two F40s can be seen among a crowd of Porsches, Lamborghinis and McLarens headed down a highway together, and when they enter the tunnel, each switches gears to show off their best noise.
