Originally acquired by the prior owner with the intention of producing a clone for one of his first cars, no expense has been spared in building an absolutely eye-catching Camaro RS that performs as well as it looks.
The original donor vehicle was completely stripped down to bare metal and rebuilt using only the finest parts available. An extensive file is provided with the sale that details the build-in maximum detail, as well as a photographic catalog from the donor vehicle purchase to completion.
This vehicle runs an LS9 Supercharged motor (6.2L/376ci) that has been dyno tested by Addiction Motorsports as being able to provide 563 hp maximum power at 6,360rpms (at the rear wheels) and 527 lb-ft of torque at 4,420 rpm. This LS9 supercharged motor runs a dry-sump oil system. The estimated power at the flywheel is approximately 700hp.
Mated to this motor is a Chevrolet Performance Clutch Kit and Chevrolet Performance Super Magnum Bell Housing. The transmission is a Chevrolet Performance Super Magnum 6-Speed Manual Transmission.
The chassis has been replaced with a Chris Alston’s Chassisworks frame that includes Wilwood 6-piston disc brakes, aluminum tandem master cylinder, Wilwood universal parking brake, Bolt-on g-Machine Front Clip, Power Rack and Pinion Steering, g-Bar Splined-End Anti Roll Bar, g-Machine Lower A-Arms, Varishock Quickset 2 Coil-Overs, Tremec T-56 Magnum Transmission Crossmember, FAB9 Axles, g-Link Canted 4-Bar Coil Over Rear Suspension, g-Machine Upper A-Arms and Splined Anti-Roll Bar for Chassisworks.
