2015 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Race Car For Sale

If you happen to be in Wisconsin next weekend, Road America at Elkhart Lake will be the next stop in Lamborghini’s Super Trofeo Series. Sponsored by Blancpain, the series is aimed at private teams and individual drivers. It consists of 50-minute races that showcase the abilities of the latest Huracan LP 620-2. All cars are rear-wheel drive and powered by an unrestricted version of the 5.2L V10 found in the production car. Leather and Alcantara is exchanged for a roll cage and Motec instrumentation. A wider grill opening allows the larger radiator to keep this bull from overheating, and the fenders are flared at all corners for wide racing rubber. Look closely at the pedal box and you will see a clutch. Instead of the computer controlled dual clutch automatic, the Super Trofeo is the only Huracan to offer a six-speed sequential transmission.

Lower, leaner & louder than any street car, the Huracan Super Trofeo is the perfect track day toy. In true racing form, the aerodynamic parts are held on by Dzus fasteners, and the wheels are center-lock. The fuel cell holds 31 gallons of premium and the car only weighs 2,800 lbs, so you will need to be mindful of weight transfer in the corners. Super Trofeo cars are rarely sold because drivers become addicted to them. Normally these cars are abused every weekend, so we love to see them in pristine condition. The series has a few races left in the season, so if you need a last minute entry, Driving Emotions has your next ride.
