2020 McLaren Senna GTR For Sale

Last week marked 50 year since Bruce McLaren left us. He was not one to sit by and watch his cars perform, he was always improving their aerodynamics and drivetrain. For those who demand the very best, his legacy lives on in the Senna GTR. Starting with an already potent supercar, members of McLaren’s F1 team carefully removed every aspect that would hinder performance on the track.

LeMans Prototype racing is a major part of the World Endurance Championship. However, it is clearly evident that LMP cars share nothing with production cars. So it has led the santcioning body to layout their vision of the future. They were so enamored by the abilities of the Senna GTR, they announced that it would be a basis for a new class of race cars.

Limited to 75 examples, each one offers 814 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Their 4.0-liter twin turbo has been treated to new cams, intake, exhaust and solid motor mounts. While it retains a few influences from the street-legal Senna, the body is race-weight carbon fiber with no compromises to aerodynamic dominance. The aggressive appearance was needed to generate 2,204 lbs of downforce. Given the car’s weight of 2,619 lbs, your bespoke Pirellis will be glued to the pavement. McLaren of Philadelphia is the only authorized F1 service center and their team supports McLaren’s racing programs in the Western Hemishpere.
