The 2022 edition of the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction has come and gone, and that means results are starting to roll in. Without a doubt, the most exciting result has to be that of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 VIN 001 (also the first retail production 70th Anniversary Edition). When the hammer was struck, the winning bid was an astonishing $3.6 million. That entire hammer price, and an additional $100,000 donated by Michelle Mauzy, are all going to benefit Operation Homefront, a charity dedicated to helping military families in need. Another exciting charity lot was Pitbull’s 2022 Karma GS-6 EV “305 Edition” that sold for $500,000. That winning bid, and an additional $200,000 donated by Michelle Mauzy, benefits the Selfless Love Foundation and The SLAM Foundation. In total, Barrett-Jackson raised more than $8.8 million for charity during the Scottsdale event.
