Kicking off the record-breaking, week-long action from the auction block, Barrett-Jackson lined up more than 2,016 collector cars, trucks, and SUVs, presenting the largest auction docket to date. In addition to some high-caliber automobiles, a portion of the event was dedicated to highlighting more than 1,180 pieces of authentic automobilia that collected $6.7 million in sales. op-tier vehicles, like the 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing and the 2018 Bugatti Chiron, pulled in jaw-dropping bids, with sales reaching up to $3.41 million. The star of the show was a 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster (Lot #1407), previously owned by Donald J. Trump, which took the title for most expensive Diablo ever sold, at $1.1 million. The Scottsdale Auction was a cultural spectacle, integrating live concerts, family-oriented activities, and a star-studded Opening Night Gala. In true tradition with a focus on philanthropy, Barrett-Jackson also raised $1 million through the sale of four charity vehicles, demonstrating the collector car community’s generous spirit.
Wrapping up the fuel-driven week of automotive excellence, duPont REGISTRY and the professionals at Luxury Lease Partners hosted a private VIP party at The W Scottsdale. The event proved to be a true spectacle as the entrance to the hotel was filled with unbelievable supercars and hypercars, including the Rimac Nevera Time Attack Edition, Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, Pininfarina Battista, Hennessey Venom F5, Koenigsegg Agera RS, Pagani Huayra BC Roadster, Lexus LFA, and so much more.
