First Production 2020 Toyota Supra Just Sold for Big Money

The new 2020 Toyota Supra was only just unveiled and we’ve already seen the first production example of the car be sold. This all happened at the 2019 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, where Supra VIN 20201 crossed the block.

When the final bid was placed, the rights to the first production Supra sold for an astonishing $2.1 million, which is much higher than the MSRP of around $50,000. Like… a lot higher. This winning bid was placed by Jeanette and John Staluppi, who are well-known in the car collecting world.

Barrett-Jackson says the entirety of the hammer price will benefit both the American Heart Association and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
