Automotive excellence brings Sotheby’s Motorsport and The Palm Event together.
The Palm Event is an exclusive and sold-out automotive experience, set to take place from March 8 to March 10, starting at the Flagler Museum, with a vintage rally through Palm Beach, and the stunning display of over 100 stunning vintage cars from the 1920s-80s on the iconic Mar-a-Lago Club lawn. For its 10th annual iteration, The Palm Event has joined forced with Sotheby’s Motorsport as its exclusive online auction and livestream partner.
With its luxury-focused and convenient online auction platform, SOMO will hold an online auction concurrently with The Palm Event, showcasing iconic and desirable cars that will be available to bid on as The Palm Event takes place. The first is a 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo S, featuring a Chalk exterior with a black leather interior, along with its 7-speed PDK transmission, 2.8-second 0-60 time, and top speed above 200 mph. The second is a 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, a beautiful front-engined V12-powered berlinetta with 612 horsepower and the iconic Ferrari combination of a red exterior with a tan leather interior.
During the Mar-a-Lago event on Sunday, March 10, both cars being auctioned will be on the grounds, and they will also be part of the Historic Display. Bidding on the auctions is live now, and runs until Wednesday, March 13.
If you aren’t able to attend The Palm Event this year, Sotheby’s Motorsport will also be hosting an exclusive livestream from Mar-a-Lago on Sunday, March 10. Viewers will get a look at the stunning display of cars on the lawn, as well as the best-in-class cars and auction updates.
