Russo and Steele Sets Three World Records in Monterey

Monterey Car Week 2015 was full of events, giving guests a wide range of activities to choose from. One of the events that stood out was Russo and Steele’s Monterey auction, which set numerous records as cars went under the hammer.

The total amount of sales from their auction results was $10.18 million, which included a record-setting result for a 1966 Shelby GT350 at $313,500. Two other world records were broken thanks to the 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo that sold for $214,500 and the 1984 Porsche 930 Turbo that fetched $95,700.

Another highlight of their auction was the Thomas Scott Collection, which sold for $338,910 and contained historic American automobiles.
