Last year, in 2017, we wrote about the first BRABUS G800 being up for sale in the United States. Now, in 2018, we get the opportunity to write about another G800 for sale, but this time it comes with an even more menacing appearance.
This example comes with a black-on-black appearance, similar to what you’d find on a “murdered out” car. Joining the SUV’s black body panels on the exterior are carbon fiber trim panels that serve both form and function.
Inside is an interior that mirrors its exterior with black and carbon fiber trimming. Of course, no luxury car would be complete without fine leather with diamond-quilting on the seats. BRABUS also included an illuminated door sill with the brand’s logo, as well as a little plaque on the gear selector that identifies the SUV’s model.

Being BRABUS-made, this SUV comes with a list of engine upgrades that make it more formidable that if it were a stock Mercedes-AMG G65 (612 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque). Thanks to new turbos, external wastegates, active exhaust, a tune and more, this BRABUS G800 is capable of producing 800 hp and 1,047 lb-ft of torque. Although, the computer is modified so the torque is limited to 811 lb-ft, which is still a wild figure.
