Presented by Specialty Vehicle Engineering.

Back in 1969, muscle cars were as popular as ever as automakers like GM, Ford and Chrysler were creating models with an abundance of power on tap. For Chevrolet, their Central Office Production Order (COPO) system created a limited run of Camaros that were powered by the ZL-1 all-aluminum big-block engine. To celebrate those vehicles, Specialty Vehicle Engineering will build 50 of these 2022 YENKO/SC® Stage I Camaros.

These limited edition Camaros get their 1,050 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque from a supercharged custom-built 416 C.I.D. (6.8L) engine, based on the production 6.2 Liter LT-1 engine. This engine features a blueprinted LT-1 aluminum block, computer-balanced race-quality rotating assembly, including forged 4340 steel crankshaft and H-beam steel rods, forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported high-flow LT-4 cylinder heads with ARP high-strength head and main studs, a custom supercharger with a 10-rib dedicated belt drive system utilizing an upgraded fuel system and injectors, a larger throttle body, and custom stainless steel exhaust system.

TO match the massive amount of power that this Camaros houses, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has given this limited edition Camaro new design cues. From the interior to the exterior, there are many features that allow it to stand out amongst all other Camaros. This includes the body color-painted carbon fiber hood with an exposed carbon fiber hood scoop, hood cowl badges, YENKO® crest badges and unique side stripes. Inside, the cabin is replete with the YENKO® trademark on the embroidered floor mats and headrests. Additionally, there are nine factory paint color choices and nice colors available for the sYc® side graphics.
