Modern classic supercars are really starting to tick up in value and these two up for sale at Motor Cars LA are perfect examples of such cars. First up is a Spyker C8 that features one of the finest interiors we’ve ever seen. Next up is a black-on-black Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG that’s equipped with a brutal-sounding Bi-Turbo 6.0-liter V12. 2006 Spyker C8
Finished in stunning Jet Black over Magnolia Leather, this example is the 89th Spyker built for the global market and is considered to be one of the rarest exotic cars available today. Estimates of total Spyker production since Spyker commenced production again in 2000 hover around 250 vehicles produced (including prototypes and race cars).
This C8 Spyder just received a major, engine-out service by Chris Mora (formerly of Spyker NA) under our authorization, (images are provided in the image gallery). This type of service is to be performed every ten years. A copy of the service receipt is available upon request. It is also worth noting that this C8 Spyder is protected with a clear PPF to the front end.
On top of the base vehicle price of $269,995 this C8 Spyder was optioned with the following items:

This C8 Spyder is supplied with the original (removable) beige roof, two Audi key fobs, the original ‘Hockey Puck’ remote, original Owners Handbook, Instructions as to how to install the removable roof, metal polish for the brightwork, original tool kit, service records, window sticker and locking wheel nut adaptor.
2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG
This 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series is one of 350 examples produced for the global market as a one model year only Special Edition. Of these, just 175 were designated for the US market.
This particular example is finished in a very well-maintained exterior Black color (option code 040) and has a matching Black AMG Exclusive Leather interior. Power comes from a Bi-Turbo 6.0-liter V12 paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 5-Speed Automatic transmission with Comfort, Sport and two manual modes. The hand-assembled 6.0-liter V12 features enlarged twin turbochargers that are unique to Black Series cars, which was factory rated at 661hp and 738lb/ft of torque.
Features include aggressively widened Black Series Carbon Fiber bodywork, a fixed Carbon Fiber roof, AMG Adjustable Coilover Suspension System, slotted and drilled brake rotors, 19″ (front) and 20″ (rear) AMG Twin 6-Spoke Forged Light Alloy Wheels, an Alcantara headliner, Carbon Fiber interior trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, Keyless Go, and COMAND with navigation.
This beautiful example is offered for sale today with two keys, car cover, owners handbook set and original leather display box which is intended to house the car cover. The vehicle also has a clear Paint Protection Film applied to the front end of the car and as such the paintwork presents in exceptional condition all around.
