2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Exhaust Modes in Action

Ford has ensured that owners of the new Mustang Shelby GT350R will not have to deal with a quiet exhaust all of the time. Due to noise regulations in America, Ford simply was not able to make the GT350 and GT350R muscle cars that scream at the top of their tail pipes.

Instead, they created multiple exhaust modes for the car: one that is quiet for driving through the neighborhood, and another that opens the exhaust up to its full potential.

In a video uploaded by TwoPupsInTheTubs June 6, we get to hear these different exhaust modes and how big of a difference there truly is. There is no doubt in my mind that I would prefer to have it in the louder mode, because it is possibly one of the greatest sounds to ever come out of a Mustang.

Check out the video below and let us know which mode you’d run with in the comments.
