The Ford Mustang is one of the most important cars in American history. Not only will it compete in factory-backed racing and herald Ford’s return to global sports car racing, but it will also be available for customers who want to race themselves.

As a collaboration between Ford Performance and Multimatic, the Mustang GT3 will race in the GTD class starting in Daytona. The car is powered by a Coyote-derived 5.0-liter V8 engine, which will show off the incredible capabilities of Mustangs when combined with naturally aspirated V8 engines.
