Ford’s New Wild Rides Heading to SEMA

Ford is bringing a massive collection of cars and trucks to SEMA, including the F-Series and new Mustang. In total, there will be over 50 different Ford vehicles on the showroom floor at SEMA. While we can’t write about every vehicle that will be showcased, here are just a few of the custom Fords that SEMA guests will see.

Project SD126: No Mission is Impossible

This truck is a 2017 Ford Super Duty XLT that has been optimized for off-road performance. Those are 42-inch tires with 14-inch travel, thanks to the FOX suspension.

Lightning Fast Meets High Performance

With a low stance and a new full body kit, the Lightning is back to strike again. Although, its thunder will be created by a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine.

Adventure with a Purpose

Spending time in the outdoors is something everyone should do on a regular basis. Breathe in the fresh air, explore and sleep on top of your F-150 XLT SuperCrew in a tent.

Ready for Adventure, Wherever the Road Leads

A seven-inch lift give this custom F-150 more visual presence, while the Ford Performance exhaust system gives it an audible presence. This one was designed to take over any terrain.

A Race-Inspired Pickup with Attitude

Based around the F-150 XLT SuperCab, this race-inspired truck sits extremely low for optimal handling. Most notable customizations are the two-tone paint job and massive ram air hood.

More Power, More Fun, More Muscle

The RTR name is back, but this time it’s for the Ford F-150 RTR Muscle Truck. There’s no EcoBoost to be found in this pickup, only the 5.0-liter V8 engine and a loud Magna Flow exhaust.

This Adventure Rig is a Smooth Operator

For the paths that are too slim for this massive Super Duty F-350, there’s the bed-mounted UTV. To haul its companion vehicle around, the 6.7-liter V8 power stroke turbo diesel engine sends out more than enough power.

Customized Convertible Delivers an Open-Air Thrill Ride

Ford’s new Mustang Convertible has a new look in this custom car. Staggered 20-inch Niche Staccato Wheels give this Mustang a “stanced” look. Underneath the hood is a re-tuned 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine.

Wide-Body Burner Leans on Classic Mustang Styling Cues

Inspired by the historic 1970 Boss 429, this custom Mustang is finished in Ford’s Grabber Green. Adding to the appearance is ROUSH’s all-new 2018 Mustang body kit, as well as a custom wide-body kit.

Overcoming Physics in a 200 mph Street Car

A 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine pushes this aerodynamically-focused Mustang to reach speeds of up to 200 mph. What’s more, it can hit those high speeds while the air conditioner is still cooling the cabin down.

A Modern Interpretation of the Classic American Roadster

The creator of this custom 2018 Ford Mustang GT Convertible sought inspiration from the classic speedsters and racecars of the 1930’s. It also features a loud SpeedKore custom titanium cat-back exhaust and 5.0-liter V8.

A Guardian with a Global Purpose

This Mustang was created by DRAGG (Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti) – a non profit automotive afterschool program for youths. This Guardian Mustang “symbolizes the commitment of the police to the communities they serve.”
