Ford Announces Ranger Raptor and We Want It…Now

The Ford F-150 Raptor just received a new little baby brother, the new Range Raptor. Announced today, this performance truck was designed to carry the powerful aspects of the Raptor truck over to the brand-new Ranger pickup truck. Before I go any further, you should know that this truck was announced in Thailand and no word of a United States release date has been mentioned.

Now that we are all upset that the U.S. isn’t getting the truck at the moment, here are the details…

The Ranger Raptor is powered by a 2.0-liter Bi-Turbo diesel engine that provides 210 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Mated to this engine is a 10-speed automatic transmission that is shared with the F-150.

Of course, no Raptor truck would be complete without a more ferocious-looking body. For that, Ford his it out of the park with a new body that, honestly, damn good looking. Wide fender flares, front bumper with extra clearance, and enough space in the wheel wells to take a nap in make for a mean looking pickup truck.

Will we see a Ranger Raptor in the United States? More than likely, but it probably won’t be a diesel. For that, stay with us on more news regarding the Ranger Raptor as it’s released.
