Gordon Murray Automotive unveils the T.50s Niki Lauda, celebrating racing history with a prototype debut at the Goodwood Members Meet.

Gordon Murray Automotive recently announced a special line of T.50s Niki Lauda edition supercars, each celebrating a significant moment in Gordon Murray’s renowned motorsport history. This exclusive series features 25 track-only vehicles, each named for one of Murray’s Grand Prix victories, culminating in a tribute to his endurance race win at La Sarthe in 1995. Set against the backdrop of the prestigious Goodwood Members Meet, the global debut of the T.50s Niki Lauda prototype is a major highlight in the industry. The event, known for its blend of historic and modern motoring thrills, is the perfect venue for showcasing GMA’s latest creation. Alongside the T.50s, the prototype T.33 ‘James’ will also make its appearance, offering spectators a first-hand look at its performance and the distinct sound of the GMA V12 engine at full throttle.

The display at Goodwood will include a broad spectrum of Gordon Murray’s creations, from his earliest race cars to the latest GMA supercars. This retrospective reflects the evolution of Murray’s design philosophy and his enduring impact on automotive engineering. Each T.50s on display has played a role in shaping the design and technology that define the current GMA lineup. Designed to push the boundaries of track performance, the T.50s Niki Lauda is lighter and more powerful than its road-going sibling, the T.50. Priced at $3.86 million before taxes, it features advanced aerodynamics and is engineered to maximize downforce and driving dynamics on the track. This significant unveiling at Goodwood serves as a homage to the legendary Niki Lauda while highlighting GMA’s dedication to excellence and innovation in supercar design. It’s an event that celebrates history while steering swiftly towards the future of motorsports.
