This one-off may well be the greatest expression of Hennessey engineering excellence yet.
Hennessey is proudly one of the world’s final bastions of unabashed American performance engineering, with a lineup of pure combustion-powered custom vehicles with incredible performance, and a series of hypercars that have redefined the benchmarks of high performance not only for American cars, but for the automotive industry as a whole. Thanks to its lightweight construction, purely speed-focused engineering, and its 6.6-liter twin-turbo “Fury” V8 engine, the Hennessey Venom F5 is one of the most incredible hypercars currently on the market.
The Hennessey Venom F5 family continues to grow, with an open-top variant, a further-distilled track-focused variant, a manual version, and more. However, a new chapter was previewed when Hennessey announced that a new Venom F5 “Evolution” was on the way. With 2,031 horsepower on tap, the capabilities of the Fury engine, which were already incredible before, became simply unfathomable in the case of the new F5 Evolution.
Now, Hennessey is creating its most captivating purist-focused hypercar yet, a new one-off variant of the Venom F5 Revolution dubbed the “LF.” The new hypercar has also heralded the establishment of Hennessey’s new “Maverick” division, a new outfit within the iconic house that specializes in creating painstaking, uncompromising bespoke customer commissions.
The new Venom F5 Revolution LF is named after its owner, Louis Florey, who specified even the most minute details when it came to commissioning the new masterpiece, including a unique aerodynamic package and a body clad in Cocoa Brown exposed carbon fiber. With an all-new carbon fiber tub, the LF combines the Evolution’s 2,031-horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine with the track-focused aspects of the F5 Revolution and the open-top body style of the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster.
With those aspects coming together, the Venom F5 Revolution LF is already the most unique Venom F5 yet, but it’s one other detail that makes it one of the most special hypercars in today’s automotive landscape: a six-speed gated manual transmission. With the LF being the first car to emerge from the new Maverick division, future builds will see a select number of Hennessey clients get the opportunity to work directly with the manufacturer to create deeply personal and unique Venom F5 builds that will stand the test of time as collector gems for generations, and with Monterey Car Week serving as the venue for the public debut of the new production-spec Hennessey Venom F5 Evolution, an exciting new era is beginning for the brand as a whole.
